In Liwale, MSF supports health centres and dispensaries across a wide area in Lindi region. Long travel distances between the project base and health facilities pose challenges for implementation of the training programme, with clinical mentors often travelling up to two hours to facilitate training and mentoring.

The roll-out began in September 2024 at Kimambi, one of the busiest centres serving a large pastoralist community. It was then implemented as well at Liwale A Health Centre, Kibutuka Health Centre and Barikiwa Health Centre.
